§ Mrs. CurrieThere are a number of committees that advise my right hon. Friend on the provision of medical and pharmaceutical services.
Doctors may prescribe any drugs including natural and herbal medicines (for example, senna tablets) which they feel are suitable for individual patients. These medicines are available at National Health Service expense unless they are included in Schedule 3A to the National Health Service (General Medical and Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 1974.
