HC Deb 23 October 1986 vol 102 c939W
Mr. Parry

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will make a statement on the recent visit to Liverpool by the Minister for Information Technology, the hon. Member for Chertsey and Walton (Mr. Pattie).

Mr. Pattie

I visited Liverpool on 14 October 1986.

In the morning I opened new premises of a design and management company in Cheshire and on arrival in Liverpool I visited the Wavertree technology park, where I met representatives of two companies sited on the park. I addressed a lunchtime meeting of the University of Liverpool Conservative Association and in the afternoon visited a computer service company in Liverpool.

In the evening I attended a dinner with representatives from local industry and commerce.
