§ Mr. Canavanasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will list those laboratories to which the Industrial Air Pollution Inspectorate refer samples for the monitoring of PCBs, PCDs, PCDDs, PCDFs and other toxic wastes in the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. WaldegraveSamples taken by the industrial air pollution inspectorate are analysed at the Health and Safety Executive's laboratories at Cricklewood, north London. Additionally they have commissioned the school of chemical sciences, university of East Anglia, to analyse soil and herbage for PCBs, PCDDs and PCDFs.
