§ Mr. EggarNo official funds are provided but families and friends of prisoners abroad are welcome to deposit funds for prison comforts with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Consular Department which are made available to prisoners through our posts abroad. Some consulates are also able to call on funds from local charities to provide prisoners with basic necessities if required.
