Mr. Ernie Robertsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will publish in the Official Report a statement showing the total number of crimes committed in each borough in the Metropolitan police area in the most recent 12 months for which figures are available, compared with the total committed in the earliest 12 months since 1977 for which figures are available.
§ Mr. MellorThe numbers of notifiable offences recorded by the police in each London borough in 1978 are published in "1983–84 Annual Abstract of Greater London Statistics", Volume 16 (Table 147) a copy of which is available in the Library. Recent quarterly and annual figures are placed regularly in the Library.
