§ Mr. Peter BottomleyYes. My right hon. Friend is currently considering its request to him to exercise his powers under section 22 of the Road Traffic Regulation 485W Act 1984 to prohibit certain classes of motor traffic from parts of the Ridgeway on Sundays and bank holidays from I May to 31 October each year. He is currently considering whether to make an order. Should he decide to do so, the proposals would be advertised in the usual way inviting views.
