Unfortunately, none of the suitable candidates combined sufficient industrial or business experience with other qualities to satisfy all the needs of the job as I should have hoped to see it develop. No appointment will therefore be made. However, we are 461W inviting two of the candidates to be members of the Department's race relations employment advisory group, to which I am sure they could make a valuable contribution.
