§ Mr. Ashdownasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the average number of applications for invlaid care allowance (a) received by and (b) completed by his Department in each month, using the last year for which figures are available as a base.
§ Mr. MajorThe table sets out the actual number of invlaid care allowance claims recieved from men and single women and, separately, from married women and the number of cases cleared in each month from October 1985 to September 1986. Because of the increase in claims from June 1986, a monthly average has not been calculated.
