§ Mr. Douglas HurdI am pleased to announce that Mr. Gerry Gillman, formerly General Secretary of the Society of the Civil and Public Servants, has accepted my invitation to serve as an additional member of the authority. He will be taking up his appointment at the beginning of June. The need for an additional member arises from the authority's high level of activity, and the vigour with which it is approaching its task.
