§ Mrs. FennerSeveral meetings have taken place at official level between the Ministry and representatives of Eurotunnel, the promoters of the channel fixed link. In these discussions we have set out the physical and operational requirements to minimise disease risk. These cover the detailed specifications relating, for example, to sealed trains, grids and disinfestation procedures. The promoters have agreed to incorporate these factors in the design of the link.
