HC Deb 22 May 1986 vol 98 c288W
Dr. Roger Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Wales how much money his 'Department makes available to centres run by Welsh health authorities at which haemophiliacs are treated and supported in counselling centres.

Mr. Mark Robinson

The Department has given £20,000 in the current financial year to South Glamorgan health authority towards the cost of counselling at the haemophilia reference centre at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. South Glarnorgan health authority has asked the Department to designate the reference centre as a regional service. If this application is approved it will in future be funded centrally.
