§ Sir George YoungThere are 209 towel cabinets in the Palace of Westminster of which 170 are in the House of Commons. The towel service is supplied under a PSA contract, renewed at three-yearly intervals, providing for maintenance of the cabinets and replacement of roller towels as necessary. Replacement of faulty towel cabinets is arranged by the authorities of both Houses direct with the contractor.
