§ Mr. Peter BottomleyThe promotional programme for child restraints in cars is as described in the reply given to my hon. Friend the Member for Birmingham, Northfield (Mr. King) on 17 March 1986 at column24. Since then, there have been more than 6,000 calls on the free telephone information number which the Department advertised. Additionally, stocks of the revised edition of the official leaflet "Protect your child in the car" have been exhausted. A reprint is in hand.
