§ Mr. Michael SpicerWe welcome the judgment which confirms our view that air transport like other sectors is subject to the competition rules of the treaty of Rome. It underpins our efforts to bring real competition to European air services, preferably as part of a package of liberalising measures agreed by the EC Council of Ministers.
