§ Mr. Peter BottomleyThe M4 has recently been widened between M25 and the airport spur. We have appointed consultants to examine a wide range of options for improving surface access between Heathrow and Central London, including the possibility of increasing the capacity of the M4/A4 corridor. Traffic monitoring will form part of the study which is expected to be finished next January.
