§ Mr. Thurnhamasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what are the latest estimates for savings by his Department during 1986–87 as a result of contracting out services to private contractors.
§ Mr. JoplingWe estimate that contracting out foreign travel arrangements will save about £74,000 in 1986–87. Also my Department will be testing the market for a number of new activities in 1986–87. The possible savings will depend upon the results of those tenders.
