§ Dr. McDonaldasked the Secretary of State for the Environment how much extra housing investment programme allocation has been made available to Thurrock borough council for the 1986–87 financial year to assist the owners of prefabricated reinforced concrete homes under the provisions made in the Housing Defects Act 1984.
§ Sir George YoungThurrock borough council's HIP allocation for 1986–87 was increased by £606,000 (23 per cent.) over that for the current year. In making this increase, we took account of the likely need for expenditure under the Housing Defects Act 1984.
