§ Mr. John PattenPrivate and voluntary sheltered housing providing board and "personal care" of the kind defined in part I of the Registered Homes Act 1984 would be covered by that Act. We have no plans to introduce legislation for the registration of ordinary private and voluntary sheltered housing, as this differs from ordinary housing only in addition of particular design features and facilities for help in emergencies.
