Mr. John Mark Taylorasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what representations he has received about the implications of a possible sale of Land Rover to General Motors for the prospects for an order worth approximately £50 million from the Australian Government for Land Rover vehicles.
§ Mr. Peter Morrison[pursuant to his reply, 19 March 1986, c. 191]: I have not received any representations about the implications of the possible sale of Land Rover for this prospective order. However one informal request for clarification on certain points was received from the Australian High Commission.
