§ Mr. Giles ShawProvisional figures of casualties from accidental fires in dwellings in the United Kingdom in 1984 analysed by source of ignition, are published in table 11 of Home Office Statistical Bulletin, issue No. 3/86, "Summary Fire Statistics United Kingdom 1984". A more detailed analysis, of final figures, by source of ignition will be given in "Fire Statistics United Kingdom 1984" which it is planned to publish in May. Information for 1985 is not yet available.
