§ Mr. LeeYes. Intermediate level radioactive wastes arise at the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment, Aldermaston from its nuclear programmes. Up to 1982 most of such wastes were disposed of to sea but now they are stored pending a decision on their ultimate disposal.
