§ The Attorney-GeneralThe prohibitions contained in section 4(1) of the Sexual Offences (Amendment) Act 1976 only apply to publications and broadcasts which take place after a person is accused of a rape offence. No person has yet been accused of the offence to which the report and photograph published inThe Sun on 10 March refers and accordingly no offence is disclosed.
