§ Mr. WhitneyI regret that information on savings from competitive tendering is not recorded in the form requested. However, for the latest savings estimates I refer the hon. Member to my right hon. Friend, the Secretary of State's reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Southampton, Itchen (Mr. Chope), and to the hon. Member for Holborn and St. Pancras (Mr. Dobson) on 23 June at columns71–84.
I will reply as soon as possible on efficiency savings.
