§ Mr. MellorNicholas Webb appeared at Camberwell green magistrates court on 27 May where he was remanded in custody. A report on his state of mind was requested by the court. He spent one night, 27–28 May, in police custody then was transferred to Brixton where a report was prepared and a further examination by a psychiatrist was recommended. He was further remanded in custody on 3 June. He spent two weeks (2–17 June) in police cells at Camberwell green magistrates court because there were no places available at Brixton prison. He returned to Britxon on 17 June and the psychiatric examination has taken place. Demand for places at Brixton is currently very high because of the repercussions of recent losses of accommodation at Northeye prison.
