§ Mr. Dobsonasked the Paymaster General what is the estimated cost of relocating in Sheffield the occupational medicine and hygiene laboratories of the Health and Safety Executive; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Trippier[pursuant to his reply, 23 June 1986, c. 15]: It is estimated that the capital cost of relocating those parts of the occupational medicine and hygiene laboratories at present situated at Cricklewood, and a small number of Health and Safety Executive headquarters staff in Sheffield, to a new site adjacent to the laboratories' existing Sheffield premises would he about £6.4 million. The cost of transferring staff, equipment and stores would be about a further £900,000.
