asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what plans he has for the future programme of work of the Tropical Development and Research Institute.

Mr. Raison

The Tropical Development and Research Institute will continue to concentrate on its work on pest control and reducing post harvest losses in aid recipient countries. The hon. Member may care to look at the Tropical Development and Research Institute annual report for 1984–85, a copy of which is being placed in the Library of the House.
