§ Mr. Speedasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he is satisfied with the adequacy of the close-in weapon system that is to be provided for the helicopter support ship Argus now being converted at Harland and Wolff.
§ Mr. LeeRFA Argus will be fitted to receive twin 30mm and 20mm mountings. However, the mountings themselves will not be fitted except for exercises and in times of emergency. Such "fit to receive" facilities are quite adequate for this ship.
