§ Mr. Kirkwoodasked the Secretary of State for Social Services, pursuant to his answer of 20 May, Official Report, column 167, (1) what plans he has to draw to the attention of the public locations at which a copy of the Green Paper, "Primary Health Care", is available for free perusal or to borrow;
(2) if he will give the reasons why he has decided not to distribute copies of the Green paper, "Primary Health Care", to main libraries.
64W
§ Mr. HayhoeOver 5,000 copies of the discussion document have been issued free to interested bodies for comment, and over 170,000 copies of a summary leaflet, copies of which are available free on demand, have been distributed. The leaflet's availability is to be advertised in the press shortly. Main libraries were sent copies of the summary leaflet, which it was considered would best meet libraries' immediate needs. The leaflet gives details of where copies of the main document can be obtained and it is open to libraries, if they believe this is likely to be justified by demand, to obtain copies as a priced document, at the standard 50 per cent. discount from Her Majesty's Stationery Office.
