asked the Secretary of State for Defence when numbers 42 and 85 Amplethorp road SE2 were vacated by the Ministry of Defence police; and when he expects them to be re-occupied.

Since Number 85 Amplethorp road is occupied it is assumed that the hon. Member intended to refer to Numbers 42 and 93 Amplethorp road, both of which are empty.

These two houses have been vacant for approximately 18 months and arrangements are being made for their return to the London borough of Greenwich, from which they have been on loan to the Ministry of Defence.
