§ Mr. Peter BottomleyWe expect to announce the preferred route for an extended bypass of Iwade on the A249 later this year. The final proposals and timing of construction will depend on the outcome of the necessary statutory procedures. It may be possible to start construction at about the end of 1988, for completion two years later.
