§ Mr. Cohenasked the Attorney-General, pursuant to the answer of 14 April, Official Report, column 31, if the Director of Public Prosecutions has yet reached any conclusion about the report from the complaints investigation bureau of the Metropolitan police regarding alleged abuses of the police national computer by an alleged homosexual ring operating within the force; and if he will make a statement.
§ The Attorney-GeneralThe Director of Public Prosecutions has advised the Complaints Investigation Bureau of the Metropolitan police as to further inquiries which are appropriate in this case. A decision will not be taken until the result of those enquiries is received by the director.
