§ Mr. NewtonThe general manager of disablement services is responsible for ensuring that work to consider the issues raised by the McColl report is carried forward without delay. We expect to reach decisions about future arrangements, including the role of the general manager in their implementation, after current consultations are completed and when we have received advice from the National Health Service management board.
