§ Mr. HurdUp-to-date information is not readily available. Information which is available from a survey in 1981 indicates that officials for whom I have responsibility have the power to enter premises under the following legislative provisions:

- Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975
In practice, exercise of the powers is confined to cruelty to animals inspectors, drugs branch inspectors, immigration officers, or prison officers.
