(2) how many qualified for the severe disablement benefit under an 80 per cent. assessment test.
§ Mr. NewtonThe latest information available indicates that some 252,000 people have qualified for severe disablement allowance under the transitional provisions for those formerly entitled to a non-contributory invalidity pension, and that, as at 11 March 1986, a further 5,700 people have qualified by satisfying the 80 per cent. disablement condition for the allowance.
