§ Mr. Giles ShawSelf-loading shotguns are subject to control under section 2 of the Firearms Act 1968 and chief officers of police have power under the Act to refuse to issue or renew a shotgun certificate in certain circumstances. We have no plans to introduce further restrictions on ownership.
