§ Mr. Scott[pursuant to his reply, 24 July 1986]: The Army continues to operate in Northern Ireland in support of the RUC. The deployment of troops in Newry, as in any other part of the Province, is an operational matter for the Chief Constable and the General Officer Commanding.
