Mr. Meacher

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will set out the (a) gross and (b) net of charges expenditure, current and capital, on the National Health Service and personal social services for each year from 1971 to 1986–87 for Wales for (a) the hospital and community health service, (b) family practitioner committees and their predecessors, (c) centrally funded National Health Service services, and (d) the personal social services with the percentage increase deflated by: (i) the gross domestic product, (ii) the retail price index and (iii) pay and prices.
