§ Mr. Corbynasked the Secretary of State for Defence what contacts the military attaches to Her Majesty's embassies in (a) Mexico, (b) Nicaragua, (c) Honduras, (d) E1 Salvador, (e) Costa Rica and (f) Belize have had with the respective armed forces in those countries in the last year.
§ Mr. FreemanWe have normal diplomatic relations with all six countries, including a defence element, although we do not have a defence adviser accredited to Belize. There is regular contact between United Kingdom defence personnel and the armed forces of these countries.
