§ Mr. Spearingasked the Secretary of State for Transport (1) what assessment he has made of the contribution to road safety and standards of driving public service and other vehicles made by the London Regional Transport central driving school at Chiswick; what is the approximate current cost per qualified public service vehicle driver; and what estimate he has of the future cost of such training;
(2) what information he has for each of the years 1975 to 1985 on the numbers of qualified public service vehicle licence holders passing through the London Regional Transport central driving school at Chiswick, together 513W with the approximate percentage these figures constitute of numbers in (a) England and Wales and (b) south-east England.
