Member for Holborn and St. Pancras. on 16 June, Official Report, column 462, what was the total taxable addition to salary received by Mr. Victor Paige in each year he served on the National Health Service management board.
§ Mr. FowlerMr. Paige was employed by the Department from 2 January 1985 to 30 June 1986. From 2 January 1985 to 31 March 1986 he received £8,625 as a taxable addition to salary and from 1 April 1986 to 30 June 1986 £2,625. Mr. Paige made his own pension arrangements and these taxable additions were to compensate him for the loss of benefits he would have received under the principal civil service pension scheme.
