Mr. Jacksonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will add to the limited list branded drugs which are available at the same price as the generic equivalent on the selected list.
§ Mr. HayhoeNo. A recent High Court judgment found that the policy of prescribing, wherever possible, by generic name within the selected list scheme meets the relevant legal requirements. I intend therefore to continue with this policy.
