§ Mr. Andrew F. Bennettasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will list in the Official Report the planned level of spending per pupil in schools as provided for by the Government's annual expenditure plans White Paper, since 1979, at cash and cost prices; and if he will provide figures for actual spending per pupil for those same years.
§ Mr. DunnThe available information is as follows. For the years 1979–80 to 1981–82 inclusive it includes an element of estimation because the Government's plans were then drawn in constant prices rather than cash.
