§ Mr. Cohenasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list those constabularies in Scotland that have or intend to have an interface with the police national computer and indicate whether the linkage is to a computer used for command and control or criminal information or both.
§ Mr. John MacKayOf the eight police forces in Scotland, Fife constabulary and Grampian police currently have computer systems which are interfaced with the police national computer. Lothian and Borders police and Tayside police plan to have such a link in due course. Details of the force systems which are, or will be, so linked are as follows:
