§ Dr. David Clarkasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what discussions he has had with the Dartmoor national park authority over the permanent siting of spoil heaps, arising from the construction of the proposed Okehampton bypass, within the boundaries of the national park.
§ Mr. Peter Bottomley[pursuant to his reply, 3 July 1986, c. 595]: The Department's agent for the highway works, Devon county council, has had discussions with the Dartmoor national park authority at officer level on the advice to be given to tenderers about the need for them to obtain planning permission for any use of land within the national park for the disposal of surplus material arising from the construction of the bypass.
