§ Mr. Ashdownasked the Secretary of State for Energy, pursuant to his answer of 2 July, whether he will deposit in the Library the current updated safety case for one of the Magnox nuclear power stations now subject to a 20-year safety review.
§ Mr. GoodladI understand that this would be impracticable. The cases comprise a very substantial amount of documentation much of which is commercially confidential, and which, where necessary, has been the subject of additional discussion between the licensee and the Nuclear Installations Inspectorate.
