§ Mr. WhitneyI am sorry I cannot give the hon. Member all the information he seeks. Figures for 1985 are not yet available. The available information is given in the table. Between 1983 and 1984 the estimated number of in-patient cases undergoing operations increased from 2,135,890 to 2,251,820.
