asked the Attorney-General if he will prosecute Mr. Salah Abdessalem Ben Rabha as an accessory after the fact in relation to the murder of WPC Yvonne Fletcher; and if he will make a statement.

§ The Attorney-General
The whole of the law relating to accessories after the fact was repealed by the Criminal 355W Law Act 1967 and was replaced by a new offence of impeding the apprehension or prosecution of an offender. I take the question to refer to a possible offence under section 4 of the Criminal Law Act 1967. There is no evidence to justify the prosecution of Mr. Salah Abdessalem Ben Rabha for such or any other offence.
