§ Mr. Neil Hamiltonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will publish statistics for each member state of the European Economic Community showing how far milk production has been restricted consequent upon the introduction of production quotas.
§ Mr. GummerThe milk supplementary levy system was introduced on 2 April 1984. The table compares deliveries to dairies throughout the Community for the 1983–84 and 1984–85 marketing years. These figures show that in most member states, and in the Community as a whole, deliveries fell during the first year of implementation of quotas.
