§ Mr. Foulkesasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what responses he has received from the states of Guernsey and Jersey to Her Majesty's Government's request for a contribution to the cost of defence and foreign representation.
§ Mr. Giles ShawThe states of Guernsey have offered to assume responsibility for the Alderney breakwater, to make a voluntary contribution towards the annual cost of maintaining the Royal naval paort headquarters in Guernsey, to pay over to Her Majesty's Government fees charged for the issue of passports in Guernsey and to pay reasonable identifiable expenses incurred by Her Majesty's Government specifically for the island in the field of international representation.
