§ Mr. Dubsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) what is his estimate of (a) the cost and (b) the income of the nationality division in 1986–87;
(2) what is his estimate of the cost in 1986–87 of providing extra advice, information and publicity to people whose right to registration under the British Nationality Act 1981 expires at the end of 1987.
§ Mr. WaddingtonDetailed estimates including estimates for the cost of publicity are currently being produced in the light of the overall planning assumptions announced in the White Paper on Public Expenditure published on 15 January.
